ADUILT choir

Join us for a Sunday, or join for the season – new voices are always welcome!

The adult choir includes singers of widely varying levels of experience and training. Our anthems range from fairly easy two-part pieces to moderately difficult four-part pieces

Choir rehearses in the Sanctuary each Thursday during the liturgical year (September to June), starting at 7:00 pm, generally ending by 8:30 pm.

We participate in both the 8:00 and 10:30 am Sunday services (usually one service each week). The first Sunday of each month we generally sing at the 10:30 am service, alternating services on the following Sundays during the month. Flexibility is helpful, however, as special circumstances occasionally call for a change in schedule. And several times each year we sing at both services on the same day.

The choir meets 30 minutes prior to the service (7:30 am or 10:00 am for Sunday services) for warm up and a final rehearsal of the anthem.

Attendance: While regular participation in rehearsals and services is greatly appreciated, there are no attendance requirements to be a part of the choir. Everyone is welcome whenever they can join us.

On Choir for a Day Sundays, we hope you'll join the choir for a short rehearsal 30 minutes before the service, and sing that day's anthem. These Sundays include:

Sept. 10 8:00 service (meet at 7:30)
singing "Since Jesus Came into My Heart"

Sept. 17 10:30 service (meet at 10:00)
singing "Since Jesus Came into My Heart"

Sept. 24 8:00 service (meet at 7:30)
singing "Covenant Prayer"

Oct. 1 10:30 service (meet at 10:00)
singing "Covenant Prayer"

You're also welcome to visit rehearsals – Thursday nights at 7:00 in the sanctuary, beginning Sept. 7 – just show up, or talk with Bill Anderson, Choir Director, or Pastor Virg or any choir member for more information.
