This summer, Wesley UMC and Bow Mills UMC invite you to join us as we explore the book, "If the Church Were Christian: Rediscovering the Values of Jesus" by author, Phillip Gulley.

In the book, Gulley seeks to rediscover the values of Jesus as he reflects on his childhood experiences as a Roman Catholic, and his years of ministry as a pastor in the Quaker tradition.

Each Sunday during worship the sermon will flow from one of the ten chapters of this book, and each week there will be a discussion of both the book and the sermon. We will share this journey with our brothers and sisters from Wesley!

Book Study: Thursday evenings 7:00 – 8:30 pm, starting June 29th.

Please make arrangements to get the book. The book is published by Harper One Press. Arrangements have been made with Gibson's Bookstore to have copies available for purchase. You can also find it for Kindle through Amazon.

The first five Thurs. sessions will be at Wesley (June 29-July 27). The last five sessions will be at Bow Mills (Aug. 3-Aug. 31.) All are welcome to join us!
